Honors and awards
There are 3.5 million companies in Germany, less than one percent of them conduct research - an extremely important group. Because only those who research can discover new things and create innovation and growth. Starting in 2014, the Stifterverband honors researching companies for their special responsibility that they assume for the state and society by awarding the seal "Innovative through research".
VTQ Videotronik GmbH was also awarded the "Innovative through Research" seal of approval for its research work by the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft.
In cooperation with the University of applied science Merseburg VTQ Videotronik GmbH has developed a system for "capacitive demounting detection of solar collectors". The system should prevent future theft of solar collectors in solar parks and plants. VTQ has been awarded with the "Hugo-Junkers-Award" for the most innovative product development for it. The prize has been awarded by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Magdeburg and Halle/Dessau. The award comes with a prize money of 2000Euro which has been completely donated to the University of applied science Merseburg to purchase new equipment and thus to ensure innovative research.
The "Great Award of of middle seized companies" is awarded by the Oskar-Patzelt-Foundation and is Germanys most important and nationwide the most desired economy award. In 2009 VTQ was rewarded with the “Oskar of the medium-sized business”. In 2002 to 2007 the company was nominated for this price, in 2006 we reached the finale.
VTQ was awarded with the "Innovation Award" of the district for a new security and surveillance system for trains.
Günther Enke was rewarded as “Employer of the Year 2001”.
